  35. Yes, YAM is bright enough to do both base64 and uu message encoding. When
  36. adding a file attachment, yam also offers the choice. Just click the uuencode
  37. button and it will do that instead of base64.

  39. Both base64 and uu (unix to unix) are message encoding schemes to allow you to
  40. attach a file to a regular mail file and then extract it at the other end.
  41. uuencoding is older, base64 is supposed to be the better of the two.
